The most religious nations in the world are India, Nigeria, and Brazil...

...According to a recent poll of 21,000 adults by German Bertelsmann Foundation.

"In Nigeria, where Christians and Muslims are roughly equally represented, 92 percent describe themselves as highly religious."

Not surprisingly, the poll found that poor countries are more religious than rich countries.

America is the most religious Western country. In contrast, the UK and France are less religious than the average West European nation, which is already a less-religious part of the world.
