Dear Fam (biological and church),
Just thought I'd jot y'all a quick note to let you know that I arrived safely here in London and am settling in well.
Since arriving, I (have): -gone to All Souls Church (home of John Stott; see pic) -spent some time walking around London -spent a few days overlapping with George Verwer's previous gopher Nathan Smith, learning the ropes -officially begun my year as Gopher 2006/2007 -blown up "the globe" for the first time -started receiving stacks of emails/reading/etc to process from George's "paper pipeline" -set up 7 book tables (for a "ship reunion" that took place yesterday), thus carrying lots of boxes -given away a bunch of books and CDs to a post-George-Verwer-message crowd -connected with some amazing people, including Jason Mandryk (currently the primary author of Operation World) -spent some time cleaning and moving into my "flat" (apartment) above the office here in West Wickham (Southeast Greater London)
